Lustre: Who Writes What

One of the joys of Lustre is thinking and writing together--usually in our office. Most of the time, particularly on the more serious subjects but sometimes on things like shopping, too, we have different points of view and perspectives. When that happens, we challenge each other. We debate. We see if there is some place where we both agree. Usually, there is. Then we write and edit together. Usually, multiple drafts. Sometimes many multiple drafts before we are both satisfied.

When we write together, no authorship is indicated. When there is just the title, the picture and the post it means that we wrote it together and we both stand behind and believe in what we are putting out to the universe.

Sometimes, as you know, we write more personally. About our interests, ideas, family, goings on. Sometimes one of us has a view with which the other is not necessarily entirely on board. When that happens, our authorship is reflected. When Erica is writing, her avatar is an E in a circle--after the title and before the text. When Karen is writing, her avatar is a K--same circle, same place.

We have been asked about this on enough occasions that we thought we should explain.

Enjoy!
